In Week 11, we focused on completing our animatic assignment, beginning with assembling shots directly from our finalized storyboards. These were combined to create a rough sequence that reflected our original visual plan.

 

However, after submission, we noticed that the result felt choppy, with abrupt transitions that disrupted the overall flow. In hindsight, we realized that having a more detailed animatic plan from the start would have helped achieve smoother pacing and clearer scene connections. The music track we paired with the animatic matched the general tone of the story, but upon review, we found it lacked the impact we had hoped for.

 

Initially, we had not planned to include additional sound effects beyond the music, but after receiving critique, we decided to incorporate more audio elements to enhance the atmosphere and narrative clarity. This stage was less about perfecting visuals and more about identifying weaknesses, pinpointing missing components, and refining the animatic into a stronger foundation for the animation.
